I am a Privatdozent (comparable to a Senior Lecturer) at the Institute for Atmospheric Physics in Mainz, Germany. Very broadly spoken, my main scientific interest is in geophysical (atmospheric) fluid dynamics. Please refer to the Research area for detailed information.

Several projects for motivated Master, Bachelor, and research assistant students are available.
