Phase Transitions of Anchored Polymers in Cylindrical and Channel Confinement

The transitions of a grafted polymer chain between partial and full confinement are characterized using scaling theory and large-scale Monte Carlo simulations of self-avoiding walks on simple square and cubic lattices. This work examines the thermodynamic nature of the escape transition across different geometries.
