Geographical Situation

Dehno is situated about 37 km to the southeast of Susa in the province of Khuzestan in Iran at 48°34'05.61" east longitude and 32°04'07.12" north latitude.

The small river Loreh coming from the Zagros montain passes the eastern part of Dehno and flows in the Dez river. In the Loreh river basin an irrigation system provided excellent conditions for agricultural activities.

The distance between Dehno and Chogha Zanbil is small so that from Dehno the Ziqqurrat of Chogha Zanbil can easily be seen.
